Our foundational purpose is to bring out a transformation in people through culture.
We believe people can reach their full potential through the power of imagination and artistic expression.
We build and engage in partnerships and alliances working collaboratively with institutions that share our mission (enterprises, organizations and the public sector).
Our tireless motivation for our actions allows us to make dreams come true.
We certify the excellence in our services through quality evaluations by an expert artistic committee, and we monitor the performance of the different cultural institutions encompassing Astor Piazzolla’s oeuvre.
We are at the avant-garde facing continuous challenges to spread out the artistic cultural heritage of Argentina.
To promote the cultural identity of Argentina.
To pass down Astor Piazzolla’s artistic legacy to future generations
To strengthen innovative cultural initiatives and projects
To foster the creation of a strong network with other cultural institutions.
The Astor Piazzolla Foundation adopts the Sustainable Development Goals and therefore

OBJECTIVE 4:
Ensure inclusive, equitable and quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
OBJECTIVE 17:
A successful program requires partnerships between governments, the private sector and civil society. These inclusive alliances are built on principles and values, a shared vision, and shared goals.
The Astor Piazzolla Foundation was created in 1995 on the initiative of Laura Escalada Piazzolla, wife of the famous musician and composer, in order to promote culture and arts, particularly music, giving prominence to the dissemination, study and teaching of Master Astor Piazzolla's work.
Over the years, outstanding activities and projects were developed through partnerships with public sector organizations and private sector institutions that shaped the proposal of the Astor Piazzolla Foundation. Since its inception, the challenge of the organization has been to contribute to the valuation of the culture and artistic expressions that constitute the national identity. A summary of the most important milestones of the Foundation highlights the following events:
